Writing Exercise: Outline An Argument

The following is a writing exercise I am doing in response to a post at Unstressed Syllables.  It will also be used as to help me write and organize part 2 of The Wu-Tang Plan, a series of posts about how I intend to make money with my blog.

I. Introduction: How Could A Blog Make Money?

A. Pre-requisite is having lots of readers/traffic.

B. Readers equal an audience that values my contribution/opinion.

C. Trust equals an opportunity to fill a need (demand).

D. Demand demands supply.

II. Demand 1: To fix an immediate problem.

A. Supply: gadgets, products, for hire

B. On a 1-10 Scale:

III. Demand 2: To get long term help.

A. Supply: services, coaching, how-to book/video

IV. Demand 3: To learn a skill.

A. Supply: books, courses, seminars

I use the CommentLuv plugin which will display your most recent post as a link when you type your domain in the website box. You can also choose from your most recent posts by clicking the down arrow.

I also use the Do Follow plug in which allows search engines to "see" the links from your comment, thereby raising your SEO.
